I can't believe how far OFF TOPIC this thread has gone. I'm looking for reviews of belts, and I appreciate, the time and effort spent by the starter of this thread, to document how she found a) the belt and b) the service of the supplier. Does it matter to me what he / she chooses to do with it ? No...

I could see this perhaps working for doing prototyping, and it could very good for ensuring the measurements are correct prior to making a metal belt. But does anyone think it would be strong enough to make a production grade belt ? I've only seen these printers at a trade show I was working at, and...

This is a shame.....

The photos I have seen of their belts looked really good - they would be on my 'short list' if they still made them.
