I just put in 'Flex Seal Tape' in a search engine and this is what I came up with:

The on line is the same as TV add I saw. The add is very impressive. How much is hype? Flex Seal is available in many US stores providing for home construction. Another option as former electrician is 20 or 10 mil spec tape used to wrap steel items for burial. It comes in 2" wide rolls. The tape is also used in aircraft for water proofing structural floors in the restrooms -water closets- washrooms -The Loo (different country have different names.)

In my opinion shiny black complemented with polished silver look better than pink or red. The 4F web site make use of the black silver combination. The tape is very recent addition to the Flex Seal products. Flex Seal liquid come in variety of colors now so the tape may follow.

I am facing some problems: this is my 25th day of continuous belting, and the silicon is damaged: the steel cut through the silicon on the waist mainly.
I tried several types of glue, electrical tape, ... no way.
I need to fix these problems ASAP.
Precision: I must be kept locked in until the 1st March.

Try tucking a kerchief of similar piece of cloth under the belt in the correct spot.
You can pin the cloth in a circle to keep it in place.
Just a thought.
