I kind of lurked here some years ago, and finally decided to properly join. I like the forum's focus on practical aspects and reality of it, with some other fun discussions and stories.
I'm currently not belted. I did have some fun experimentation with one of those cheap leather belts (that are just for temporary wear) with an ex-girlfriend. I've wanted for awhile to plunge into some introductory steel ones and gives things a try, but life kept getting in the way (and still is for the time being).
Shout out to Wendy (the Warrior) whose practical advice, personal accounts, guidance, and confidence was really inspiring. I really concur with her view of my (future) belt being my armor. It can certainly be fun too, of course, and something for bondage, but to me it can also be something that is empowering.
Maybe I'll have a second introduction later with more information, when I get settled in. And maybe I'll be belted then.
