This new material, Proteus, is resistant to cutters and angle grinders. The article mentions cut-proof bike locks. The fine folks of this forum would most certainly envision other uses for such a material.

I just clicked on the first new thread and I already know that this forum is what I'm looking for.
I wonder if the material is easy to work with.

It must work to process, but may become very hot and therefore "impossible" to cut when used as chastity belts.
Next question. Does it resist rust?

Its ceramic spheres in aluminum foam - so no rust.
