I having trouble pasting pictures to a reply. I have done it the past but the ways I've tried do not seem to work.

Message sent had a pic from copy paste

If I am not mistaken, the image must first be uploaded online.
You can not just take a picture from your own computer and make it visible here.
Now I may be wrong, but that's how I always did it.
