How many of you have orn just the belt not panties to work? How long?

Depending on what I'm wearing I typically just go no panties and belt only

As I considered the belt as a part of my body, I wore underwear over the belt.

I usually wear panties unless I am at home so as my belt is not seen.

This seems the most practical and reasonable way. After all, underwear is generally kind of necessary; I imagine it will be even more once I wear a belt and have to visit the bathroom (moisture from clearning, etc.) To me, I expect to view the belt similarly, as something under-underwear. It seems like having some soft underwear will be useful for comfort too, and keeping some sense of normalcy and femininity dealing with having hard steel clinging to me.
Blogs that I've read over the years generally advised it to deal with "VCBL" (visible chastity-belt line, similar to VPL visible panty-line). Having that extra layer helps smooth things out. I recall the former model Gina from Bound Life saying as much for her daily job, I think she wore scrubs in some health profession.
Though even though I like that kind of way of thinking of it, and it being more practical with underwear on outside, I've been wanting to introduce the concept of "adaptive panties" to the belt culture. (It might warrant a new thread in the future). Adaptive panties are generally panties that have closures on the sides. The closures are usually in the form of hook & eye closures (like bras or snap-crotch bodysuits), sometimes velcro. They're marketed for people with mobility issues where pulling up and down regular underwear would be difficult.
However for belt-wearers, I'm thinking they could be feasible for wearing underneath a belt? For bathroom usage, I think it would be possible to simply unclip the sides, and slide it around the crotch-band, so you wouldn't even need to take them off completely. And at the end of the day, they can be changed with a little shimmying under the belt.
So they could help with practical and moisture issues for one, being close to the skin without the belt underneath. Second, some of the newer cheap belts have had reviews of discomfort with insufficiently-rounded edges on the front shield; having some soft fabric underneath could help with comfort and protection from poorly crafted edges.
Even for well-made belts, it could help with comfort and perhaps help those that have difficulty with longer-term wear. As most of us here know, the tales of knights riding off leaving their gals belted are fiction. However, I understand that there has been evidence of satin linings in some belts worn by ladies traveling with a trusted guard holding her key at overnight stays for protection. So adaptive panties could provide a similar level of comfort without needing access to the key or being unlocked.
I think the layered look of belt over panties can like quite nice too as well.
