Could you post here a photo of the defective part ?Lizza wrote:I have ruuinated the lock block post on my belt, i cant really lock it on now.
Need to see the problem (how it is broken). Do you know the name of your belt manufacturer ? Or it is a Chinese generic noname belt ?Lizza wrote:Can anyone tell me where in the uk I can get that part of my lock, or.........even a new burgh wachter lock complete. Its the big silver lock rectangular assembly with the post thing behind it

That depends on the problem, but perhaps a mechanic or a locksmith could make a new part.
I understand, however, that this could be ambarassant...

Hmmmmm
How did it get ruined?I was "experimenting". Just seeing how hard or easy it would be get out of it.I started by looking at that silly "allen socket" on the back of the post bracket or thing, that screw actually screws into the post itself, because it is a allen key needed to turn it, i thought that has to go! Sooooo I drilled out all the "flats" so using an allen key would make it impossible to undo the post retaining screw.Anyway over a period of time, the post came loose, I then couldn't tighten it.The lock key and bit that goes in it wore away the "groove" in the post, the locating lug for the key assembly.I tried welding the bracket the post is aattached to, to the post thing, that didn't work, so now its in a real mess.Soooo now I have a locking system that wont allow the lock stuff to locate in the groove of the post properly. If you remove that evil looking gold coloured plate from the huge solid block you can get to the lug from the front and see how the lock locates into it.When it is now "locked" the solid block can be puled straight over the post with the brass rod going clean over it,Its no longer lockable.Oh dear.
the belt I bought from a not very nice man on ebay.He has a horrible attitude.I include a link here:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Full-Female-C ... 1c3326f995
All he says to me is "buy a new belt".HAH! noooooooooooooo.NO I am not "into" bondage at all.
I can upload a picture but how do I put it in here?

Hiya Lizza...
Resident female chastity belt modder-upper here....
I got a good mental picture of what you are saying.
Sounds like both the locking block and post are damaged. Is the lil nubbie on the brass locking pin worn down too?
I any event, unless you have access to a machine shop and can make a new post with the blocking brass pin cut-out in it, yeah, you are going to have to purchase a new one.
Unfortunately, I have found no ready sources of purchase for that lock that does not involve a purchase order of 10,000+ locks.
You will have to purchase a new belt, I'm afraid. The cost of new cheapie Chinese belt will be cheaper than paying a machine shop prices to make new parts. Welcome to our disposable world.
Of course, you could always scrap the Burg Wachter locking block lock as your main locking system and go to a different one! You can still use the bracket that the post screwed into and modify the block in a different way with simple hand tools.

Hmmmmmm
I tried uploading pictures....the system in this forum wont let me?
The brass tang is fine. The cylinder inserts are easily available in the uk,its a 7mm version.Other problems the damn liner keeps coming of the edge of the belt between my legs, I tried elastic bands, they kinda work.the thing is such a bad fit, it gives me hell all the time.It has the solid strip going up the back.............not chains.
The nasty man on ebay, charges ONLY £15 for new liners,is that expensive?

If it´s the nasty man on ebay, it's probably as bad liner like the one you already have. Therefore, I would not buy it!Lizza wrote: The nasty man on ebay, charges ONLY £15 for new liners,is that expensive?
Try instead to glue your liner yourself.

It should work by attaching the photos to your post. You need to click on "upload attachment" under the writing area when you write a post. I hope that makes sense.Lizza wrote:I tried uploading pictures....the system in this forum wont let me?

@ lizza...
Sounds like you have what I modded viewtopic.php?f=20&t=129
Check out that thread, as it pertains to YOUR belt.
Unless your liner is ripped or the edges are chewed off, you do not need a new liner, you merely need to glue it down properly.

Re: new block lock burgh wachter
Hellooooooo PyraShall
I have fixed the lock block, more or less, with a hammer.
Assuming you have a similar lock to mine? Shall we call it a locking block post bracket. The lbp bracket looking down from the top,the top edge is a strip bent at 90 degrees. At the bottom of the lpb, there are two lugs also bent at 90 each. The actual block sits between these two surfaces. The block as standard is a very loose fit.Any wear on the locking post allows the the LPB to move down from top to bottom like swivel, that's how I can get out of the belt........even if it is locked!
Solution
Simply close up the lpb so the BLOCK is a tight fit between the upper and lower edges of the lpb.Squeeze or hammer over those two lugs in a vice or carefully hammer them for a smaller dimension,be careful, or the block wont fit back into the bracket. It works, i tried it today. The ONLY way out of the belt is via the key!!>I can no longer swivel the block towards the floor and escape the belt!Look at it like this.If i could get out of it with no key, some one else could also remove it.This ONLY applies to a very well worn lock etc.
Fitting, yes very important, i have been to hell and back trying to stay in it for any length of time, you name it and the belt has done it,squeezing the life out of me, sliding it over my hips when locked to see if i can get out, walking short distances and it falls between my legs, almost anything you can imagine, including all the liner problems.Waistband sliding down my waist, a true pain in the neck.
I looked at your link, and I will whenever, do what you suggest.
Just how dangerous is it to try and cut a belt off?I mean as a last resort for any reason.I imagine it can be very serious if you start cutting it, the metal could easily spring into your body as it is cut and razor sharp edges?I have been near that point once or twice.
I like this forum I can learn a lot I am sure. and you all seem nice and friendly.
i want to wear a belt safely not dangerously, which I think I may have been.

Re: new block lock burgh wachter
@ Lizza;
I understand what you are describing, but I never had those issues with my lbp and the chunky block as it sits in the bracket. Yes, if you go over to another thread I OP'ed, I have all sorts of pics of the burg wachter locking block w/ pin.
Mine was a sloppy fit as far as up and down, not the twist factor you have. Those chunky locking blocks are just chromed brass, so they can wear easy and fast.
As for cutting your belt off, unless you perma-rivted your waistband halves together like I did, all you need to do is remove the small locking nuts on those #6-28NFT screws. Then just take the halves apart and you are free.
If you perma-riveted the halves together, you may be able to escape without cutting by removing the screws that hold the chains on if you did not rivet down the chain or solid rear strap bracket to CRB area (center rear back)
Last resort, yes you can cut the 23 gauge stainless steel off pretty easily. I would get under and strip off the liner first before cutting so you do not damage the liner as well. The metal can always be had again pretty cheaply from a local machine shop or metal distributor. All you need do is give them the length and width of the metal, its just a straight strip is all. Then you can locate and drill your holes for posts and rear attachment stuff.
